1. Definitions
In these terms of service:
- ClassifiedPing: the service offered through classifiedping.com
- User: any individual or legal entity that uses the service
- Service: providing automated alerts and notifications for online marketplaces
- Account: a user's personal access to the service
2. Scope
These terms apply to every use of the service and to every agreement between ClassifiedPing and the user. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
3. The service
ClassifiedPing offers a platform that lets users set up automatic alerts for Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace. When new listings are found that match the search criteria you set, you are notified by email and/or push notification.
4. Account
To use the service, you need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secret. All activity under your account is your responsibility.
5. Subscriptions and payment
- ClassifiedPing offers several subscription plans, as shown on the website
- Payment is made monthly in advance through Stripe
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise
- You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription then continues until the end of the current billing period
6. Free trial
New users may receive a free 7-day trial. When the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the end of the trial. No credit card is required for the trial.
7. Availability
ClassifiedPing aims for the highest possible availability of the service, but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for damage resulting from interruptions, delays or the service not working.
8. Liability
- ClassifiedPing is not liable for the accuracy or completeness of the listings found through the service
- ClassifiedPing is not responsible for transactions between users and sellers on Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace
- The total liability of ClassifiedPing is limited to the amount the user paid in subscription fees over the past 3 months
9. Use of the service
You may not:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Disrupt or manipulate the operation of the service
- Share account details with third parties
- Use the service in a way that harms ClassifiedPing or other users
10. Intellectual property
All rights to the service, website, software and content belong to ClassifiedPing. No part of the service may be copied or published without prior written permission.
11. Changes
ClassifiedPing reserves the right to change these terms. We will inform you of important changes by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. This does not limit any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your province or territory that cannot be waived, including the rules that apply to consumers in Quebec.
